- Obverse: Depicts a quiet nativity scene prior to the arrival of the three wise men. Joseph sits on a bed of hay and is cradling Baby Jesus in his arms in a touching moment. Mary rests nearby following the labor of childbirth while the donkey looks on from the background. "IN THE HANDS OF THE FATHER" is inscribed across the bottom rim, along with "THE NATIVITY" above.
- Reverse: Shows Joseph and Mary on their journey toward Jesus's humble birthplace in Bethlehem. Joseph is depicted guiding the donkey that a pregnant Mary rides upon. The legend along the bottom rim reads "LET EARTH RECEIVE HER KING," auguring the coming birth of Christ. Other inscriptions include the round's weight and purity "1 TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER" and the year-date "2019."
